High Noon is the place for arguments that are derailing threads on the other subfora. Especially if you seem to be covering the same territory repeatedly, meet at the corral at High Noon to sort it out.

If you do not move your argument here voluntarily, mods may move your conversation here. Please respect their decision and feel free to continue to conversation on a board where people can choose to be involved in an argument. Do not necessarily consider it to be a "strike", moderation style, to be sent here. It just means your conversation is too intense for the thread/ subfora where you're posting. We aren't expecting everyone to share one mind here, and debate is welcome. If your conversation here gets too intense even though all parties are within the rules, you are under no obligation to continue the debate; just keep the fight out of other threads and let the thread know if you need to bow out.

The mods of High Noon will try to be hands off, but may point out and/or enforce applicable sections of of the documents above. We prefer that members use the documents and links themselves to guide their conversation, but we don't need to host circular arguments that don't go anywhere due to repeated straw/effigy arguments, or appeals to emotion, etc. If one member is clearly following rules of argumentation and another is blatantly violating them, we may come in with the mod voice.

Moderation rules apply, and if someone is violating the Code of Conduct, they will be moderated appropriately. We aim to make this a safe space, including a safe space for argumentation. Bullying and silencing will not be tolerated because they can be triggering to many members of this board and drag discussions into unacceptable personal attacks. Please consider closely before posting, and remember that any private messaging to other members, emails to other members, or interactions with other members on other sites on the internet (or IRL) that could constitute (cyber)stalking will not be tolerated.
