They can be yours, or they can just be stuffed toys that you happen across and think are wonderful.

This is Jack. He's just so... so cheerful!

Jack kind of frightens me. He is like a fuzzy little axe murderer.

He was a Valentines gift, and yeah, he is almost too happy. I was going to suggest that you'd hurt his feelings, but implying that I think a toy puppy is sentient is probably not a great way to start my forum tenure.

Pff, embrace the whimsy.

I'm sorry I called you an axe murderer, Jack! Would you like a hug?

(edit) Tevarre, that looks like Ursula Vernon's Little Creature. I approve.

Hex, hugging axe murderers is bad for your health.

(Also, argh! That picture is huge! Apologies Still, he's adorable.) And buyable from here

*Edit: Eep, my bad - when it comes to remembering to close parentheses, I fail. Frequently.

**Also, I sometimes forget to capitalise. (I'd apologise for writing in fragments, but I wouldn't really mean it.)

The hell you say. I submit that not hugging axe murderers can be equally hazardous. ;)

I was talking to a Pixar fan the other day about Toy Story. We were speculating over whether, given that in that universe toys love nothing more than being played with by children, stuffed toys are ok with being squished by overzealous hugging. (The in-universe implications for sex toys are equally fascinating, though not really a subject for a cute thread.)

As is mine, sorry! I would have put it in spoiler tags, but they don't seem to be enabled in here.

Oh, so all we need is love? And International Hug-An-Axe-Murderer Day?

Perhaps, like humans, they have differing opinions on the matter. I myself am quite sanguine about the occasional squish, but I'm aware that that tolerance is not universal.

Ouch. I bow to your superior grasp of implications. :)

(edit) The improperly aligned carriage return strikes again!
