Howdy!

I have been reading this board since its beginnings and figure it is about time to actually say hi. I am not entirely sure what to say about myself, though. I am... intermittently a college student of the liberal-arts persuasion, out on the east coast of the USA. I enjoy reading, and painting, cooking, karate, and gardening, and inordinate amounts of tea. I have an inexplicable love of Puzzle Pirates and text-based roleplaying games. I have traveled extensively, both in the US and out of it, most often on pretty much no budget; have been homeless, am not anymore; have been crazy, am likely to be for a long time; have been an activist in a number of spheres (environmental, animal rights, queer rights) and sometimes forget how not to be.

I am way too fond of glittery things, be it clothing or makeup or puffy paint to draw with on shirts. Sometimes, this makes hugging me dangerous, as glitter is extremely contagious. I have too many piercings, which adds shiny but thankfully don't come off on people, at least.

And, yes, I've already read the Code of Conduct.

So... hi!

Hi! Glittery things are fantastic. I also wish I had your hobbies. Anyway, welcome!

Hi, Prism! Welcome to the boards. I'm now having bizarre visions of contagious piercings...

@Hex: Man, that would be awkward. Or painful? I don't know. HM. Contagious piercings would certainly be interesting, anyway. But maybe not ideal.

@Isabel: Oooo. What style do you practice?

@Quix: Me? >.> Not... exactly. Sort of! Ish. In a way. But not me. Hi, though!

@Kaie: Yay, another one! I play on Viridian. My flag is Reign of Chaos. What about you?

And thanks for the welcome, everyone!
