hi! I'm 14, and I'm studying creative writing at a half day arts school. Okay, so I've been lurking here for a few months, and I've realized that I really don't know what I'm talking about with regards to the issues that you all are discussing. So I'm probably going to lean more towards watching on most of the big discussions. If I do say something ignorant/____phobic I'm really, really sorry. Also, I love hugs, especially internet ones, to an absurd degree. Animal rights and postive body image stuff is SUPER important to me. I don't eat any animal products, because I love animals and don't want to hurt them. And I love poetry,all animals (stuffed or otherwise), peanut butter chocolate cups, terry pratchett, shakespeare in the park, glitter, and musicals.

I have an unhealthy love for glitter, myself. Maybe not so much unhealthy for me as for everything around me. Glittery things shed so bad. XD

I really want to become vegan when I get the chance.

I still cringe at the stuff I said when I first came here- actually stuff I said recently too. Welcome to the boards, lego. Since our goal here is to maintain a safe space to talk about things that are often poorly dealt with in other spaces (as well as hanging around looking at cute stuff, natch), and since everyone's on a learning curve about something, there's no expectation that everyone must 'know' everything or be the perfect communicator. Which you've probably already realised from lurking! Anyway, welcome again, I hope you like it here.
